Indian Staffing Federation's 7th Technology Conference,GCC: India Advantage is a premier event for the human resource professional experts/leaders. Especially in the year where India holds the G20 Presidency, Indian Staffing Federation is inviting leaders from sectors that are impacting Technology.
The conference is designed to deliberate as GCCs have come a long way since their early days about four decades ago. India today has undoubtedly made the world take notice, clocking an impressive expansion of its economy in recent years, and well on its way to becoming the third largest economy by the end of this decade. Among the key contributors to this growth has been the Global Capability Centre (GCC) sector – a ‘sector of sectors’ to be more precise – which today is also one of the biggest employment avenues for the country. India holds the lion’s share when it comes to GCCs across the world. With around 1500 of them and counting, India’s market share stands at a commendable 50% currently, and it has the potential to scale up to US$ 60-85 billion in the next half a decade. This has resulted in India housing one of the largest clusters of Fortune 500 companies anywhere in the world. Besides the human capital impact that the GCCs have delivered to the country, it is noteworthy that GCCs have a significant multiplier effect – 3X multiplier effect on revenue and a 5X multiplier effect on jobs.
